What is PLAR and how does it work? This article reviews the PLAR basics and provides an overview of what PLAR is. 

Competencies

Set of PLAR practitioner competencies developed by BCPLAN through extensive stakeholder consultations in British Columbia and nationally with the Canadian Association for Prior Learning Assessment.

PLAR Navigator Portfolios

BCPLAN has agreed to provide PLAR information and services to the Progressive Intercultural Services Society (PICS) advisors tasked with reviewing the education, training and work experience of PICS Foreign Credential Recognition Loan (FCRL) program clients. As a result, the portfolios have been developed for a variety of professions.
